The sleepy town of Vagamon is sparingly populated and a bit remote. Though Vagamon lies in close proximity to the city of Kochi(about 100 kms) and Kottayam (70 kms), this land of cliffs and gorges is still unexplored by many a travelers. The journey by road to Vagamon is fascinating with a panoramic view at every bend. The meandering road to Vagamon is cut in solid rock lined with pine forests. And as you wind your way through green capped hills interspersed with cascading waterfalls rushing down the slopes into the deep valleys below, the rolling plains come into view thousands of feet below you. The road climbs uphill all the way with deep gorges on one side and towering green clad hills on the other.

Cottages or Villas - Your Farmhouses

• The cottages or villas at Orion County are essentially one bedroom cottages, 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom cottages, with exclusive lawns and gardens. If you own a bungalow, villa or cottage at Orion County, you automatically become a member of the Orion Villa Owners Club. As a privileged member, apart from owning a grand cottage or bungalow at a prime Holiday Resort, and enjoying fabulous vacations and holidays with family and friends with access to all facilities at the Resort at any time you please, you can lease out your Villa or cottage to holiday seekers thus ensuring optimum Return on Investment (ROI).

Plots – Your Farms

• The plots at Orion County are of 5, 10 & 25 of tea plantations together with a little garden of roses, gladiolus and an Orchards of apple, orange, guava and strawberry, etc. and a small vegetable patch. Each plot will have a minimum of 5 to 10 trees, 6-8 meter wide access roads and potable water, electricity, telephone and Cable TV connections etc. Farm owners will have the privilege of being part of the Orion Farmers' Society, the Society of property owners in Orion County. The Society will do collective farming in Orion County on behalf of the owners and the revenue generated will be shared among the farm owners. The individual owners can construct cottages/villas in their farm.

• Plot Owners will get the Free Membership of Orion Club -Vagamon& Orion club Holidays (Chain of luxury clubs at Vagamon, Ooty, Munnar ...) entitle the member to have 7 days free stay every year for the next 25 years at different destinations.

Orion Holiday Resorts

• Orion Holiday Resorts Ltd. will construct a holiday resort in the plot adjacent to Orion County replete with facilities including Ayurveda, Yoga and Meditation Centre, multi-cuisine restaurant, children’s play area, jogging tracks, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor games facilities and a conference hall etc. All these facilities can be used by the Orion Club and Villa Owners Club members.
